LEARNING AND TRAINING NEEDS OF CARERS
Your opinion is important!
As part of our commitment to ensuring carers are at the heart of deciding what support they need in their caring role, Caring with Confidence is carrying out an extensive piece of research into the learning and training opportunities for carers.
- Phase one will identify carers’ attitudes towards the learning and training opportunities they have participated in and what they would like to see more of.
- Phase two involves identifying what learning and training opportunities are offered to carers through local organisations and how they can be accessed. This data will also contribute to a new online directory of services which will be launched.
The initial phase of research is focused on carers and organisations based in north-west England before being extended to other parts of the country.
